The Rumpus, Litquake, and City Lights Books present a book release party for Jerry Stahl’s new novel Painkillers. With readings from Bucky Sinister and Sarah Fran Wisby, a performance from Permanent Midnight by Crisis Hopkins, music by The Yellow Dress, and of course featuring Jerry Stahl.

    Greetings,

    I saw your scene at the San Francisco Theater Festival. That was a wow-ful afternoon! I’d like to keep the wow happening for groups which are

    1) looking for a venue, and

    2) offbeat enough to perform on the street.

    I have a Toyota pickup truck with a stage on the back. I occasionally perform skits, produce puppet shows, and otherwise entertain from that stage in parking spaces around and about San Francisco.

    I’m inviting your troupe to use my stage for performances: full programs, skits, vaudeville, hit ‘n’ run theater, vocal acts.

    I’m a school teacher by profession, a street performer by inclination.

    Give me a holler.
